Drivers told to lock their vehicles

MOTORISTS in the Bognor Regis area are being urged to make sure they remove all valuables from their vehicles.

Overnight on September 30, an unlocked car, parked on a Selsey Avenue driveway, was broken into.

The thief then stole a Garmin satellite navigation system which had been left in the vehicle’s glove compartment.

A vehicle parked in Addison Way, Bersted, which had been left unlocked, was broken into sometime between 8am and 9am on October 3.

The vehicle had been left unlocked while its owner worked close by. Items stolen included a black credit card wallet and a satellite navigation system.

Another car parked in Bersted also had its window smashed, last Monday.

The owner of the vehicle which had been left in Chichester Road, returned to find their back window smashed

Anyone with any information relating to any of the above incidents should telephone Sussex Police on their non-emergency number, 101, or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
