Donnington tractor driver banned after Hunston corn crash

A TRACTOR driver who smashed into a porch and ruptured a gas main has been banned from the roads for a year.

Mateusz Tworzydlo, 26, of, Selsey Road, Donnington, admitted driving without due care and attention at Worthing Magistrates’ Court after his tractor crashed into a cottage at Hunston.

He was also given a 12-month conditional discharge and fined a £30 victim surcharge and £150 court surcharge last Tuesday.

Tworzydlo’s tractor was towing a trailer loaded with sweetcorn along the B2145 at Hunston on September 6 when he hit Wood Cottage, at the junction, rupturing a main.
