RESIDENTS are being urged not to miss out on their chance to vote.
Arun District Council recently sent letters about voting registration to every household in the district to make sure the records held by the Council’s Electoral
Registration Officer are correct.
Nigel Lynn, Arun’s chief executive and electoral registration officer, said: “Previous generations have fought and campaigned for the right to vote so it is extremely important that as many people as possible register to vote ahead of the local and general elections in May.”
If all the information contained in the letter is correct then there is no need to do anything.
However, if someone is not included or the information is incorrect residents are being asked to register now by visiting www.gov.uk/register-tovote, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01903 737616.
