RESIDENTS, your village needs you! That is the clear message in Felpham.
Felpham Parish Council has produced a pre-submission draft of the village’s neighbourhood plan and they are now calling on all residents for their help.
The parish council needs as many residents as possible to respond to their survey so they can ensure their plan provides for the needs of as many as possible in the coming years.
Neighbourhood plan chairman Glenn Powell wants as many people, young and old, to complete the survey and to examine the policies contained within it.
Cllr Powell said: “This plan is for the whole community of Felpham: residents, business owners and service providers, and we want to be sure we have got it right.
“We also need some further information to complete the evidence base required.
“We hope as many people as possible will take the time to complete it and parents will encourage their children to do so as well.”
The survey has been delivered to all homes, but residents can take part in other ways apart from just filling in the form.
They can complete a form online or come along and talk to parish councillors at one of their meetings.
The neighbourhood plan sets out a vision of the types of development residents would find acceptable in coming years.
