FREE parking discs are available for next year in Bognor Regis.

The dark green discs entitle their holders to two hours parking without charges in the Lyon Street, Hothamton and Fiztleet car parks.

They can be bought for £1 in outlets including the Observer/visitor information centre onPlace St Maur.

Chris Heaps, Bognor Regis Traders’ Association’s chairman, said: “This will be the fourth year of the scheme. It does what it needs to do, which is to encourage people into the town centre.”

The group is putting £3,500 into the popular scheme for 2015. Other funding is coming from Arun and Bognor councils.

More than 15,000 discs have been sold this year.
