Weapons used in a street fight in Bognor Regis

A FIGHT in a Bognor Regis street in which weapons were used is being investigated by police.

The brawl involved an estimated six men in their late teens or early twenties in Glamis Street close to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School.

It was reported some of those involved had weapons such as sticks and belts.

The group ran off in various directions as the police arrived. Offices arrested three men nearby on suspicion of affray.

One was aged 21 from South London. The other two -aged 21 and 25 - were of no fixed addresses.

They were interviewed and released on police bail until March 10 while the investigations continue.

There have been no reports of any injuries and damages after the fight about 3.30pm last Wednesday (February 11).

PC Kev Garnham said: “We believe there may be several witnesses to the incident.”
