POLICE have appealed for witnesses after 14 vehicles left in various roads across the Felpham area were damaged.

Members of the public reported their parked vehicles had been moved sometime overnight on Saturday, June 8 into the early hours of the following day.

Police believe the vehicles were forcibly moved by another vehicle which has caused significant damage to them running into thousands of pounds.

This happened to cars parked in Firs Avenue, Whitelands, New Barn Lane, Caledon Avenue, Leverton Avenue, Wroxham Way, Flansham Park, Outerwyke Road, Ancton Lane, Mornington Crescent, Outerwyke Avenue and Silverbirch Drive.

PC Alan Russell said: “We believe a vehicle has been used to push or barrage other vehicles into fences, lamp posts and other street furniture in these roads causing mindless reckless damage.

“Anyone with information should contact Sussex Police quoting serial 0334 of 9/6.”
