A HOMELESS organisation helping people in Bognor Regis has received a boost from Sussex Police.

A cheque for £250 has been presented by Sussex Police to BigLove which supports homeless and disadvantaged members of the local community.

PC Sam Fenner, from the Operation Accent community team, set up to tackle crime and vulnerability within the Eastern European community, said: “It is good to see money from the proceeds of crime being reinvested into the local community and especially for such a worthwhile cause as this.”

MP for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton Nick Gibb was also visiting BigLove’s day centre when the cheque was presented today (April 26).
