A HUNSTON man has been found guilty this afternoon of a string of sexual offences against a child (October 24).
Jack Hillier Thorns, 20, who grew up in Hunston but was living in Linden Road, Bognor Regis, prior to his arrest, pleaded not guilty to seven counts of sexual offences, including two rapes.
During the trial, at Chichester Crown Court, he pleaded guilty to four further charges.
The offences took place between January 1, 2006, and January 20, 2013, and included one count of rape of a child under 13, one of sexual activity with a child, three counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, four counts of sending indecent images by text, two breaches of sexual offence prevention orders and one count of possessing an indecent image of a child.
A date for sentencing has not yet been set, but the defendant will remain in custody.
