CLOWNS left a trail of laughter and fun behind when they paraded through Bognor Regis.
The seafront as well as the town’s busy shopping streets came alive with the sound of hooting and whistles today (Sunday, March 3) as a hoard of colourful clowns ambled through causing a bit of a stir.
The funnyfolk could be seen entertaining the many spectators who turned out to show their support for the parade.
Six-year-old Claudia Simms was watching the fun with her family in London Road.
“I have loved watching the clowns they are very funny and I hope I can see them again. My favourite clown was the little boy one in the car,” said Claudia.
This could be the final time the harlequins of humour take to the streets because Butlin’s has decided to axe its Circus Circus weekends following a review of their entertainment.
There is no agreement in place for next year, but a spokesman for the clowns has said they hoped to return.
