Two businesses have been confirmed as winners of the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Home Instead Senior Care, which has offices in Chichester and Havant, and Willard Conservation Ltd, also of Chichester, have received awards in the categories of Innovation and International Trade for their services.

Home Instead was introduced to the UK in 2005, specialising in the care of older adults, while Willard Conservation are leaders in the design and manufacture of equipment for works of fine art and historic media.

The companies were recognised for the Queen’s award for their growth in size and scope, while also offering an exemplary service to clients.

Trevor Brocklebank, chief executive of Home Instead said: “On behalf of our national network we are honoured to receive this prestigious business accolade. We couldn’t do this without our dedicated army of care givers on the ground. This award pays testimony to their devotion to change the face of ageing in the UK.”

Paul Willard, managing director of Willard Conservation said: “Without doubt, this achievement is due to our fantastic team of technicians.

“We have all worked hard, not only to develop an extensive range of products and services, but to secure our global reputation for quality and long-lasting craftsmanship. This award comes at a really exciting time for us as we look to build on our company’s success for the future.”

The businesses are part of 92 Innovation awards granted this year across the UK, while a total of 243 businesses are set to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, recognising their contribution to international trade, innovation and sustainable development.

Representatives from each business will join the other winners at a Buckingham Palace reception on July 14.
