MEMBERS of the community attended the opening of a charity Christmas card shop at The Council House in Chichester on Saturday.

The UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation, Cards for Good Causes, has once again decked the halls with an array of festive cards.

The preview evening, held on Thursday, was attended by Chichester mayor Peter Budge and other Chichester district councillors.

People can find the Chichester shop, in the Old Court Room at The Council House, by looking out for Cards for Good Causes’ red Santa sign in North Street.

The shop is now open from Monday to Saturday each week until Thursday, December 17.

It will be selling Christmas cards on behalf of the members of The 1959 Group of Charities in the pop-up shop, as well as cards for other national and local charities, where possible.
