Car crime is being looked into by police

A STOLEN car was abandoned in Pagahm.

The silver Vauxhall Corsa, which was taken from Kyoto Court some time between 5.30pm and 9pm last Monday, was discovered near Pagham Lagoon.

The same evening, a car parked in Queensway was broken into.

Thieves took several items, including two ceramic zebras, a gold watch, a commemorative coin, a snuff box, and platinum wedding band.

The day before, between 5.30pm and 9pm, a number plate was pulled off a vehicle parked in Aldwick Road.

Police are also investigating reports of criminal damage to a vehicle parked in Highfield Road.

The damage to the car which had been left in a private car park had happened over the past few months, but was reported to police only last Wednesday.

Anyone with information on any of the above incidents should call 101.
