A BOGNOR Regis company is in line for a national award.
Sovereign Rotating Machines has been nominated for the supplier of the year award by a leading automotive trade journal.
The Car & Accessory Trader awards – part of publishing giant Haymarket Media Group – recognises the best- performing businesses throughout the motoring industry.
It is the first time Sovereign, which employs more than 130 staff, has been put forward for possible recognition.
The award is given to the company with the most votes. Sovereign’s managing director, Richard Welland, wants residents to get behind his firm and cast their votes before the deadline of December 21.

He said: “To win this prestigious award, we need help from the people of Bognor and Chichester to go online and cast their votes.
“Winning this award would give our company and staff a massive boost and further support our efforts to bring customers to the area, not only to see our facility but also the town in which we operate.”
Sovereign Rotating Machines is the UK’s largest manufacturer of starter motors and alternators for the automotive industry.
This year has seen the firm grow considerably following a tie-up with the US giant, WAIglobal.
This has led to the introduction of a new power sports range of projects and the production of a company YouTube video.
The increased business has led to the company moving to a larger, purpose-built home in Christie Place off Durban Road, alongside the A29 Shripney Road.
