Support could help Bognor cafe clinch award

THERE is still time to vote so a Bognor Regis eatery can taste sweet success.

Damon and Maria Parkinson the owners of Simply Delicious have been nominated as finalists in the Sussex Food and Drink Awards Best Eating Experience category for the fourth year running.

The husband and wife team are renowned in the area for their freshly cooked, locally sourced, seasonal food, all of which is prepared freshly on the Lennox Street site.

The Sussex Food and Drink Awards is the only competition of its kind in the county and seeks to raise the profile of local food and drink producers.

Nominations for the awards were taken earlier this year and the difficult task of coming up with a shortlist of ten finalists fell to sponsors of the Best Eating Experience category Mayo Wynne Baxter and a panel of judges chaired by Clive Beddall OBE.

The High Sheriffs of East and West Sussex, are long-term supporters of the awards but played no part in the judging process.

If you have not yet had your say you can vote online or by text.

Full details are on the website at www.sussexfoodawards.biz
