Keep warm on the colder days with help from team

RESIDENTS in the Bognor Regis area being encouraged to warm up this winter.

As the weather turns colder, the Arun Wellbeing team are asking people to think about how much they spend on heating their homes.

Home energy visitor Sophie Casenave said: “You may not realise how much can be done to help you save money on your fuel bills. A home energy visit can assess how energy-efficient your house is and help you keep it warm and reduce your energy bill costs

“Last week I also spoke to 14 people at an energy-switching advice session at the Laburnum Day Centre in Bognor Regis. Many of them had never explored switching their energy tariffs, or even compared tariffs with other companies.

“We compared prices for six residents and the savings they could make by switching ranged from £35 to £186 per year,” she added.

The Arun Wellbeing team can give home energy advice to residents or book visits.

Email to wellbeing@arun.gov.uk or phone 01903 737862 for more information. The next energy-switching advice session will be held on January 31, from 10am–1pm, at the Arun Civic Centre on Maltravers Road in Littlehampton.
