JOHNSTON Press has launched TheEngineerList – a new digital recruitment service aimed at helping employers find the perfect candidate in engineering.

The new service is a spin-off from the Observer publisher’s online recruitment tool TheSmartList which, for a fixed fee, allows companies
to source jobseekers via a
pre-screened shortlist of qualified candidates and means vacant roles can be filled quickly and effectively.

Employers submit details of their vacancy and TheEngineerList team prepares a recruitment brief against which candidates can be matched.

Promising individuals are screened using a bespoke questionnaire and, once TheEngineerList is finalised, the employer can review the candidates and select the best for interview.

Joe Slavin, Johnston Press’ managing director, said: “This offers a smart, cost-effective solution which we know guarantees results because of the great feedback we’ve had on TheSmartList.”
