AN ALDWICK pub is on a mission to enable a family to reclaim Christmas.
The Martlets on Aldwick Road is looking for people whose festive season lacked sparkle.
The reason could be a mum who worked on Christmas Day, a dad who was called out on duty or a dismal time from another cause.
The winner will receive £1,000 in cash as well as a family meal at their local Fayre and Square outlet like The Martlets backed by its ‘no quibbles’ guarantee.
General manager Kevin Smith said: “We want to do our bit to make sure this festive period is a memorable occasion for all the right reasons.
“For many people, Christmas can be a bittersweet time – especially for families who can’t be together.
“So, we’ve enlisted our very own Fayrie Godmother to wave her wand and deliver festive joy to the most deserving family.
“We could be giving them back the Christmas they missed, and no quibbles.”
