BLOCKBUSTER’S Bognor Regis store is closing down despite administrators claiming it is not on the list of shops to be axed.
The store on the high street displays closing down signs, and staff understand the shop will close, although could not say when the store will shut its doors for good.
Despite the closing down signs bosses remained tight lipped over the situation, and said no more information could be given.
On Saturday (January 19), administrators Deloitte confirmed 129 of their 528 stores would close down over the coming weeks.
They said the Chichester and Bognor Regis stores were safe from the axe, but this does not appear to be the case.
Chichester staff said their are no plans to shut the store in Market Road at present.
