It was a dream come true for the owners of a new Bognor Regis shop when a former Portsmouth footballing legend declared it open for business.

Linvoy Primus cut the tape at the grand opening of Moviemania, set up by father and son team Peter and Oliver Cripps.

Being fanatical Portsmouth FC fans they both admitted to being a little star-struck.

“Having Linvoy here has been fantastic, I am a bit lost for words to be honest,” said Oliver. “It’s a great start for the new shop.”

The High Street store buys, sells and trades quality DVDs and video games.

Oliver said: “Moviemania is striving to reduce the stigma attached to pre-owned goods, unlike other second hand shops we check all discs prior to purchase to ensure there are no scratches on the DVDs or games and to ensure they are sold in like new condition.

“As well as all consoles and accessories undergoing thorough testing to ensure they are in very good working order for our valued customers.”

They have run a similar store in Littlehampton for the last two years.
