A BANK has announced it will slash 7,000 jobs in the UK this year after announcing it’s annual results for 2013.

Barclay’s chief executive Antony Jenkins announced today (February 11), that between 10,000 and 12,000 jobs will be lost internationally, but 7,000 of those will be in the UK.

It is unclear whether local branches will be affected, but the bank has branches in Chichester, two in Bognor Regis, one in East Wittering, one in Emsworth, Selsey and Midhurst.
