BEN Richards is heading for another sell-out charity show in Bognor Regis.
Only a few tickets are left for the 7.30pm performance of the musical show, Ben Richards and Friends, which he is staging at the Alexandra Theatre on October 26 for the Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice and Bowel Cancer UK.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to coming back to my home town. I hope to see you there.”
Ben grew up in Bognor and has resumed his acting career in top stage shows like 9 To 5 after he beat bowel cancer.
Ben, who grew up in the Bognor area, has starred in hit TV shows such as Footballers’ Wives, The Bill and Holby City.
His first sell-out show at the theatre in the Regis Centre was 18 months ago after he had just finished his cancer treatment. He raised about £1,000 for the children’s hospice.
He is on course to top that success with his latest two performances. Ben will be joined by guest singer Portia Emare.
They will perform favourite songs from the Rat Pack era and more modern singers such as Harry Connick Jr.
The second half will feature contemporary sounds from musicians like Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder and Andy Williams and the Motown sound.
There is a choice of tickets left for the 2.30pm show. They cost £14.50 and £13.50 from 01243 861010.
