Armed robbers target Pagham store

Staff at a Pagham Co-op were left shaken after armed robbers targeted the store on Saturday (January 28).

Police were called to reports of a robbery taking place at the shop at The Parade at 6.30am. It is believed two men entered the store and threatened staff with a weapon, demanding cash.

Sussex Police said they succeeded in getting away with money. The amount has not yet been confirmed. No one was injured during the robbery. The store will be closed until officers have completed their investigations.

Anyone with information is urged to call Sussex Police and ask for Chichester CID by ringing 101.
