Acting group will perform own panto

SLEEPING Cutie will be spreading enjoyment in Bognor Regis this weekend in a summer panto.

She will be the lead character in the performance by the Madacts music and drama group this Saturday.

It will take place at 2.30pm at Bognor Regis Methodist Church Hall on Waterloo Square.

Organiser Carol Kotin said: “The pantomime has all the usual attributes – jokes, songs, audience participation and comedy.

“We don’t think anyone would ever guess the name of the princess so they will have to come and join us at the church hall to find out.”

The group’s 14 members, aged six to 16, meet for an hour-and-a-half weekly. They have been working very hard in the past few months on the production.

One of the actors, aged 11, has even written and composed his own song.

Tickets, priced £3, can be bought at the door. Admission is free for children.

Carol invited more youngsters to join.
