Elderly man freed in Shripney crash

FIREFIGHTERS freed an elderly man from his car after it plunged into a ditch.
The car went through a fence into a field at the junction of Lidsey Road and Sack Road, at 9.35am on Saturday, January 30.

Firefighters stabilised the car, which was on its side in the water-logged ditch.

The elderly man was taken to hospital a
fter he was freed by the crews from Bognor and Chichester, who reached him using ladders .
