Cables stolen from Bognor telephone exchange

Witnesses are being sought to the theft of ten heavy reels of cable from the telephone exchange in Bognor Regis.
Police believe the items, which each weighed about half a tonne, are likely to have been taken away on a lorry from the Walton Road premises.

The BT electrical cable was stolen during the Easter weekend between 6pm on March 23 and 7am on March 25.

Anyone who saw large vehicles at the exchange between those times or anyone in the building's yard should contact PC Ifould at Bognor Regis police station on 0845 60 70 999.
