Three young people have been recognised for their achievements by the Rotary Club of Burgess Hill and District.
Dean Walls and Becki Dundridge, who both work for Mid Sussex based companies, were nominated by their employers as exceptional people in the Rotary Club's Young Achiever Award.
Dean, 21, who works at Ikon Live, paid with his own time and money to gain qualifications in IT. He now works as Help Desk Officer for Ikon's offices in Burgess Hill and is described as a great person to have on the team.
Becki, 18, decided not to go the university route to a career and started out at CoinCo in Burgess Hill last year. Described as an 'ideal employee' she was promoted to work on reception and has recently received a second promotion.
Fiona Cross, 15, was sponsored by the Rotary Club to attend a one week course through the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. Fiona made friends with 45 other young people and grew in confidence when she made a speech in front of 200 people during her course in Buckinghamshire.
