EUROP Assistance – one of Haywards Heath's major employers – is taking over the whole of Sussex House in Perrymount Road to create room to expand its workforce.
Paul Everett, director of sales and client services for the company, which provides a wide range of services including international medical assistance, said: "The move to one site in Haywards Heath provides us with significant additional space into which we can expand as we continue to win new accounts and take on new staff.

"This move reaffirms our commitment to Haywards Heath and to providing continued employment opportunities for the local area."

Sussex House is a landmark building in Perrymount Road and is already home to the company's customer assistance centre, from which Europ Assistance undertakes its medical assistance and repatriation services. Some of the company's management staff work in offices at 21, Perrymount Road and they will re-locate to Sussex House.

The company has a second call centre in Navan, Ireland, which works seamlessly with the centre in Haywards Heath to form, what is in effect, one virtual centre, operating 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
