TRAIN drivers at the Bluebell Railway will be steaming along the tracks towards their final goal of reaching East Grinstead all the faster thanks to a £25,000 grant.
Mid Sussex district councillors have allocated the cash towards the extension of The Bluebell Railway and improvements to Imberhorne Viaduct.

The cabinet grants panel approved the funds to complete much needed restoration work at the Imberhorne Viaduct.

The improvements are part of the Bluebell Railway's Northern Extension Project to extend the track from Kingscote to East Grinstead station.
