TEENAGE yobs are being blamed for a trail of destruction at the weekend leaving cars in one street dented and scratched, wing mirrors ripped off and vehicles spattered with eggs.
Angry residents in St Wilfrids Road in Burgess Hill say this is only the latest in a long line of similar incidents of mindless vandalism and are calling for tough action, including CCTV, to tackle the problem.

Five cars were targeted overnight from Friday into Saturday morning with the bill for the damage expected to run into hundreds of pounds.
Neighbours say on previous occasions gangs of rowdy youths have jumped on the cars denting the roofs as they use the 'bumpy bridge' footbridge as a cut through at weekends.

On Friday night two cars and a van had their door mirrors damaged, one car was scratched and a van had a panel dented.
