A rose bush was planted in front of the school, and a memorial bench was unveiled.

His classmates, many of whom attended the ceremony, had raised £200 for the memorial.

Ricky died in November last year following a serious incident at a Hallowe'en party.

His mum Sarah spoke at the ceremony, and said: "I'd like to say thank you to the school and to his mates.

"It means a lot to us that you all remember him and wish you luck as you go on in life."
