Horsham road closed to build pavement

A SECTION of Hammerpond Road, Horsham, between Ghyll Crescent and Copperfields, will be closed this week, starting tomorrow (Monday September 8), while a new pavement in built.
Drainage works and kerbing will also be provided at the Doomsday Lane junction.
The work, estimated to cost £165,000, will be carried out Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm and occasionally on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. The works will take up to four months to complete, weather permitting.
During the closure of Hammerpond Road, diversion routes will be via St Leonards Road, A281 Brighton Road, Church Road and Golding Lane. Residents and pedestrians will still have access to the road during the closure.
