THE HORSHAM Hobblers will be one of many local groups taking part in Saturday's (May 17) Playtex Moonwalk.

Anne Allen and Kathryn Tyler, of Clockhouse Podiatry, Blackhorse Way, Horsham, decided to form the Hobblers this year to participate in annual charity walk to raise funds for breast cancer research.

Their patients come to the clinic with unrelated issues and often talk about matters that have had a devastating effect on their health or of someone close to them.

Along with Kathryn's sister Lauren Berry (another member of the Horsham Hobblers and a palliative care specialist nurse) they have been touched by their patients' experiences and courage with breast cancer.

Kara Sayers-Wood and Cathy Devlin joined the group when they heard of the plans to raise money for this worthy cause through taking part in a marathon walk around London.

Anyone who would like to make a contribution can still visit the clinic at 5A Blackhorse Way, Horsham, or sponsor online at www.justgiving.com/horshamhobblers.

For comprehensive coverage of all the stories making the local news, read Friday's edition of the West Sussex County Times newspaper. Website users who wish to purchase a copy of the County Times newspaper but live outside our circulation area can do so by telephoning 01403 751200 and asking for reception. The cost of the newspaper plus postage in England is £1.53 which can be paid for by credit card. Overseas rates are also available, on request.
