Drugs ditched from car
PACKAGES of drugs were ditched by the A24 between Washington and Findon in the early hours of Monday morning (May 19), police report.
Sussex Police say the packages were thrown from a green Vauxhall Vectra while they were following it south from Washington.
The car was seized near Findon roundabout, and more drugs were found inside.
Police used sniffer dogs to help find and recover the packages from the grass verges along the A24.
Two people have been arrested and are helping police with their enquiries.
