FRIENDS of Horsham man Jason Maguire who died in an accident last Thursday have spoken of his passion for helping the disabled.
Jason, who lived in Millthorpe Road, Horsham, and worked as a refuse collector for Horsham District Council, was a frequent visitor to Westhope Mews care home, in Denne Parade, Horsham, which looks after people with physical and mental handicaps.
Manager Sally Kelly said: "He would come in and bring games and puzzles and sit and talk to them."
"He was a smashing guy. He had so much compassion for people and especially people with learning and physical disabilities. He understood their needs."
"When he saw them in the town in their wheelchairs he'd always stop and talk to them."
