TYRES and hedgerows were damaged in an arson attack last night (Tuesday May 20).

Firefighters were called to a site adjacent to Broadfield Kennels near Buchan Country Park, between Horsham and Crawley, on the A220 at around 7pm.

Three derelict vehicles, 50 tyres and an area of hedgerow were damaged by the fire.

A compressed air form system was used to deal with the blaze. The emergency service say it was arson.
