AN ELECTRICAL fault caused a fire that destroyed a car in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, December 3).
Fire crews were called to North Ham Road, Littlehampton, at 1.18am, when the black Renault Clio burst into flames.

Niall Cooper, station commander at Littlehampton Fire Station said the fire had caused the car, which had been left in gear, to jolt into a parked red Mazda van.

The Clio was severely damaged by fire, and the van partially damaged by heat and smoke.
