Fast-rising young actress Carey Mulligan has been highly praised for her portrayal of Jenny, while the first-rate supporting cast includes Alfred Molina, Rosamund Pike, Dominic Cooper, Olivia Williams, Sally Hawkins and Emma Thompson. Screenplay: Nick Hornby

Michael Jackson's This Is It (TBC)

The life and music of Michael Jackson are celebrated in this motion picture spectacular.

"This film is a gift to Michael's fans," he says.

Ortega worked with Jackson for more than two decades, and was director and creative partner on his This Is It tour.

Famed film-makers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov join forces

They must take the offensive if they are to survive, and they must discover why the machines want to destroy them in the first place.

As they soon come to learn, the very future of civilisation may depend on them.

With the voice talent of Elijah Wood, John C Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau and Christopher Plummer, 9 also features the soundtrack music of Danny Elfman.
