Pram race thanks

WOULD you publish in your newspaper our most grateful thanks for the amazing generosity of the spectators, competitors and sponsors with regard to the licensed street collection on December 26.

This raised £2,658 on the day and together with amounts raised in the year including a horse race night and proceeds of the annual Christmas raffle, has allowed us to give donations to local good causes serving young and old alike, an amount of over £5,500,

On behalf of our president, Derek Bell MBE, and my hardworking committee, may I thank Kia, Slated Barn Garage (our primary sponsors) and the publicans at The Bear Inn, The Lamb Inn, Pagham Road and The Kings Beach at Pagham Beach for support as well as the many people who assist with the marshalling, collecting, etc. And of course, the amazing competitors who regularly take part, year after year.

In addition, our thanks go to the local Sussex Police assisting with the road closure and St John Ambulance for First Aid provision. Thank you all.

Further information regarding the event can be found from info@paghampramrace.com You are welcome to contact us, or via our Facebook page.
