Ban cars from town

ON WALKING through the Bognor pedestrian precinct on Saturday, I and a couple of other people were hooted at by a disabled driver to get out of his way, his wife wound down her window and remonstrated with us.

He then stopped opposite

WH Smith’s where his wife got out and hurried across into the store.

This is not the first time a disabled driver has thought they’ve got the right of way.

I think cars should be banned from the precinct altogether. Chichester has the right idea, a pedestrian precinct should be that. No cars permitted! Maybe someone can tell me why cars are allowed in Bognor?
