Bognor Regis blood donors date

BLOOD donors around Bognor Regis have an extra day this week to help save lives.

They can start at the next blood donor session in the town on Friday (January 3).

It takes place from 1.45pm to 4.30pm and 5.30pm to 8pm at the Gordon Centre, in Canada Grove, Bognor Regis.

John Canning, a spokesman for NHS Blood and Transplant, said: “It only takes one donation to help save and treat up to three lives.

“So, giving blood this leap year can make a huge difference to patients in need.”
