Chichester and Pagham made cup progress - but there's a replay ahead for Selsey in the FA Vase.
Billy Huntley got the only goal as Chichester City won 1-0 at Rustington in the first round of the Sussex Senior Cup.

Selsey face a replay after a 1-1 draw at home to Holmesdale in the FA Vase at the High Street Ground. Shaun Dobbs got the Blues' goal to cancel out the visitors' opener.

Two second-half goals by Michael Frangou saw Pagham through to the third round of the John O'Hara Cup as they beat Seaford 2-1 at Nyetimber Lane to continue their great start to the season.

Sidlesham's poor start continued as they crashed out of the RUR Charity Cup with a 3-0 loss at Loxwood.

Midhurst gave the Rotherfield faithful something to shout about as they finally played their first home game of the season in division two - beating Bexhill 3-2.

Dan Warren was the hero with a hat-trick as the hosts took a three-goal lead only to be pegged back to 3-2 in the second half.

In division three, Bosham drew 3-3 with Saltdean at Walton Lane. Redman (2) and Buller were their scorers.
