Martin Sutton enjoyed good sport fishing the Bottom Lake at Moor Farm as he reeled in a personal-best mirror carp.
Mist was drifting over the water but fish were still moving on the surface.
Martin caught on both small pellet with a method feeder and also floating baits (chum mixer and bread), and had a strong take and the fish sped off across the lake.
M
artin, who was fishing only with his light rod, battled the fish for ten minutes before it finally came to the bank and he managed to net it.
The result was mirror carp of 15lb 8oz. It was taken on two chum mixer biscuits, hair rigged and attached to a controller float.
Several more fish were caught during the morning but nothing approaching the size of the mirror.
