Both Bognor teams ended the season on a losing note.
A depleted first team went down 4-1 to league winners Horsham III, the only Bognor success being club No 1 Steve Porter keeping up his great record for the year.

The seconds played their final match against eventual champions Chichester V, and lost by a similar score.

Despite these setbacks, both teams can be considered to have had a successful season with the firsts third in division three west and the seconds in mid-table in division four.

Player of the season is Porter, who dropped only one match in 17.
For the seconds, Dave Meagher had most success, winning 12 out of 17.
First-team captain Steve Carruthers was the busiest player, taking part in 23 matches.

Luke Allen and Paul Butcher were close behind on 19 and 20.
