Run machine Brouwer brews up trouble for Aldwick
Aldwick were unfortunate to be paired with a classy Southwater side including South African run machine Johan Brouwer.
He top-scored with 77 in a total of 183 for eight off 49 overs, caught by Andy Adkins off skipper Joel Lodge (2-44).
Aldwick had made a great start by reducing the visitors to 38 for three after 15 overs, with Keelan Belcher and Adkins both taking one for 16.
Aldwick took wickets regularly.
Adam Rutter's five-over spell was tidy and Aldwick were happy with their efforts.
But Southwater's attack cut through the Aldwick batting order with ease, and after only eight overs, Aldwick were 14 for eight.
N Baker (6-16) and O Tidy (3-16) were the bowling heroes.
A late rally from Aldwick's lower order duo Belcher and Chris Barrett took the final total to 43.
