BOGNOR face another top-three side promising: Our heads won't drop.
The Rocks have taken only two points from their first seven games, but boss Mick Jenkins says confidence in the camp remains high.

And he believes if they keep playing the high-tempo football that saw them do everything but score against Welling on Tuesday, that elusive first win won't be far off.

The Rocks have already played AFC Wimbledon and Maidenhead – who are now the top two – while Saturday's opponents, promoted Chelmsford, are third.

Jenkins said: "August was horrific for us and we are all determined to make September a whole lot better.

"Chelmsford will give us a big test. They have brought in some experienced players – but so have we.

"Sometimes, your first win can come where you least expect it and we will be going there aiming to come back with three points.

"It's vital that we build on Tuesday night's performance."

Left-back Paul Watson may be missing because of commitments with Brighton & Hove Albion, which could mean a switch to left-back for Gary MacDonald, who made his debut in the centre of defence.

Jenkins hopes to keep using Alex Fisher, although the striker could be recalled by Oxford at any time. But strikers Dan Beck and Zak Burke should be available after ankle and groin injuries respectively.

On Tuesday, the Rocks host fellow Conference South side Worcester in the first round of the Setanta Shield.
