Dammika Perera scored 67 not out as he guided Bognor to their first win of the season over Findon.
Findon captain John Rogers had no hesitation batting when he won the toss in the county division three west clash.

Bowlers Perera and Jim Lee started well, but Perera bowled both batsman, which brought Charlie Foreman and Andy Vickerstaff to the c
rease.

The Findon batsmen started to build a solid platform but with the score on 97 for two, Bognor's spinners produced a hat-trick, then sneaked another quick wicket to make it 99 for six.

Kevin McGuigan (3-42) and Elliot Clarke (4-37) were backed by keeper Glenn West, who took three stumpings.

The Bognor reply started well but a collapse saw them 58 for four. Liam Geoghegan and Perera took the Bognor score to 100 before Lee joined Perera, who took his score to 50.

Left-armer Mickey Demetriou dismissed Lee, Jim Fallick, McGuigan and John Young to leave Bognor 137 for nine. But captain Andy McGregor supported Perera and hit the winning run.

Ifield v Middleton

Middleton suffered their first defeat of the season – and deservedly so.

Young Aaron Madgewick was the pick of the bowlers, Carroll claimed three quick wickets, with Hanley picking up four, but Ifield finished on 199 for nine.

The Ifield bowlers applied some excellent pressure and Middleton were all out for 150.

Pagham v Arundel

Pagham got their second win of the season with a single off the penultimate ball.

Arundel were invited to bat and runs came thick and fast.

Sean Rutter struck three times and Arundel faltered before ending on 226 for seven.

Will Rolls (51) and Matt Gregory (49) put on 135 for Pagham's first wicket but they fell behind the run rate.

They required six off the last over which they just managed with a ball to spare.
