Christina Bassadone and Saskia Clark missed out on the medals today - but still finished a creditable sixth in the women's 470 sailing.

The pair finished fourth in the medal race, which moved them up to sixth place in the final table.

Australia won the gold.

For Bassadone, it is one place better than she managed in the same class in Athens four years ago, when she was paired with Catherine Hopson.
