THE LADIES of Bognor Golf Club had fun in the sun as they raised money for a good cause on their captain's charity day.

It was in aid of St Wilfrid's Hospice in Chichester, which is £1,800 better off thanks to captain Linda Searle and her supporters.

People donated gifts and spent time making sure stalls were full.

Tarot cards shed new light on membes' lives and the children who managed a quick play in the bunker on the 18th went away happy too.

The prizes were 'recycled' jugs, with local charity shops reaping the rewards.

A golf competition to win the china was keenly contested.
