Wick Dynamos 1 Wittering Utd 5

Wittering United won the Chichester and Arun Under-11C League with two games to spare by beating Wick Dynamos.

After a nervous first 20 minutes, Wittering broke the deadlock with a fine goal from Callum Thorpe.

Wittering relaxed and, in the second half, started to dominate. Another two goals for Thorpe and one each for McBride and Gardener made it 5-0.

Wick gained a consolation goal in the dying seconds but it did nothing to stop the celebrations for Wittering.

WITTERING: Cullum, Bouchier, Hamlett, Lake, Lambert, Brewer, Robinson, Williams, Thorpe, Gibbons, Smith, Gardener, McBride, Samain.

Wittering Utd 0 Barnham Trojans 2

With both teams already promoted, all that was being fought for was pride.

In Barnham's final game of the season, they started strongly and were largely camped in Wittering's half throughout.

The deadlock was broken by a well-taken corner which floated into Wittering's goal area for Barnham's Adam Gooding to sidefoot the ball into the net to give Barnham a well-deserved lead.

Barnham's second came from a well-struck shot from outside the area by Joshua James.

Barnham: Moss, Read, Ormiston, Slade, Baker, Gooding, Fincham, Major, Richards, Mitchell, Perkins. Subs: Faulkner, Sampson, Wadey, Thorne.

Summerley Park 2 Selsey Seals 3

Summerley took a deserved lead with a strike from Milland.

And just before half-time it was 2-0 as Knight headed in when a Sargent thunderbolt came back off the bar. Selsey pulled a goal back right on half-time.

In the second half, Selsey caught Summerley twice on the break to make it 3-2.

Summerley: Hambridge, Terry, Groom, Yates, Hamilton, Milland, Kilhams, Hammond-Wilson, Cleall, Knight, Sargent, Smith, Napper, Finniear.

Just before half-time, Knight ran on to a through ball and outpaced the defence to make it 2-0.

Smith finished off a superb passing move to make it 3-0.

Rustington had three chances cleared off the line by Cleall and Groom.

Predators are celebrating their league title victory, clinched with their 18th consecutive victory of the season, in which they scored their 150th goal of the campaign.

Bognor Town Colts 2 Regis 2000 B 1

This local derby was a close-fought game with both defences seeming to be on top.

With the score 0-0 at half-time, both teams felt they could win it but Bognor took the lead midway through the half.

Regis equalised when a great run and pass by Karl Matthews set up Tom Stannard, who coolly slotted home.

Bognor got the winner with five minutes to go, to leave Regis without reward despite a good display.

Regis: Rosskilly, Clark, Southerton, Formaggia, Hanson, Poole, Lane, Stannard, Methven, Garner, Matthews. Subs: Penegar, Scutts.

Rustington Otters 3 Bosham Youth 4

Bosham were looking for a good result to follow up their demolition of Predators – and that's exactly what they got.

It was a terrific second-half comeback from the visitors, pulling it back from 3-1 down at half-time.

Rustington made a great start, though, going 2-0 up within 20 minutes.

Then Bosham pulled a goal back through Ben Paterson before the home side regained their two-goal advantage.

Bosham had nothing to lose in the second half and were rampant, James Bracher netting, and then Paterson grabbing two more to complete a thoroughly-deserved victory.

BOSHAM: Tollaz, Bell, Oswin, Shonk, Webb, Gilson J, Wilson, Cook-Jones, Gilson E, Paterson, Bracher.

Barnham Trojans 1 Chichester City Colts 4

Chichester beat Barnham in the Challenge Cup final at Arundel.

It was a close-fought contest between the top two teams in the league.

The first half was very keenly contested but with chances created at both ends, Barnham took the lead as Harper nodded in at the far post from an Edwards corner.

The second half started evenly but the equaliser finally came when Adams broke clear to finish in some style.

Further goals from Hope (2) and Reed made the game safe as Chichester's superior fitness and desire told.

At the final whistle, the travelling masses celebrated as Chichester retained the cup for the second year running.

CCC: Everest, J Marks, Day, Salisbury, S Marks, Pointing, Matthews, Green, Read, Pike, Worden, Chamanga, Adams, Gaffney, Yildrem, Hope.
